We want to get the word out that Flagstaff Inspires is the best source for local happenings - written by locals with genuine care and knowledge about Flag.

☀️ Mayor Miranda Sweet and Council Member Anthony Garcia have been hosting community gatherings to talk about the Sunnyside neighborhood Community Plan. Grab a drink at Wanderlust Brewery with the duo to share your ideas with the next meetup August 4th at 5:30pm.

🚍 Mountain Line Transit upgraded several routes last week. There are now new bus stops at McMillan Mesa and Whiting Rd., near Flagstaff Junior Academy. There’s also an extension of Route 8, 20-minute weekday frequency on Routes 3 and 66, and time point tweaks to make service more reliable.

💎Avail Tattoo is now offering body piercing and jewelry services. Plus, Mesa tat artist Jimmy Chee will be inker-in-residence August 6-10th.

🍺🌿 Are you growing hops in your garden? Mother Road’s 2026 Community Fresh Hop Brew is just around the corner and they use Flagstaff’s own home-grown hops! Email [email protected] to find out how your hops can become part of this special beer.

⚙️Tynkertopia and TynkerSpace have new hours and are now closed Sunday and Monday. Both are registering for their next workshops which will run August 10-28th.
