Good morning, Flagstaff! International Dark Sky Week has been observed worldwide since 2003, and we’re joining the world in celebrating the beauty of the night sky in our dark sky city this week.

Celebrating Dark Skies and Science
🔭 Flagstaff is celebrating International Dark Sky Week all week long with stargazing, art and social events every day. Find full details of Dark Sky Week events here.
Tuesday, April 22 - Owl Prowl at Thorpe Park - learn about owls from Northern Arizona Audubon Society and do some stargazing. 6:30 pm, gather at the head of Thorpe Trail near Montoya Community Center
Wednesday, April 23 - Special beer release and stargazing, 7pm at Mother Road Brewing Co.
Thursday, April 24 - Starlight in the Square featuring appetizers, drinks and stargazing 7-10pm at Flagstaff's Heritage Square. Tickets are now available.
🔎 And to celebrate science - there’s still time to register for the Festival of Science Scavenger Hunt taking place May 3rd. Gather a team of up to 4 people to work together for some science-y exploration and fun around Flagstaff. You’ll receive exclusive swag, refreshments at the post-event celebration, volunteer support, prizes, and, most importantly, a lot of fun!

🌻 Hullabaloo is looking for volunteers! The 16th Annual Hullabaloo will be June 7th & 8th in Wheeler Park. Volunteer for a few hours and you can can not only help make an awesome community event, but also get free entry to the festival!
🎪 They are also still taking Vendor Applications (except food vendors) through May 10th.
