AROUND TOWN

Roadwork to Know About

🦌 Good news for reducing Elk/Car disasters - ADOT is building a wildlife overpass on I-17 between Kelly Canyon and Munds Park. Over half the wildlife collisions occur in this one spot and 75% involve elk, reports AZFamily. Work is expected to last from spring 2025 until completion in fall 2026. If you’re heading south be aware there may be lane restrictions Monday through Friday during the day.

🚧 Beginning May 12th portions of Riordan Road and Riordan Street will be closed as the city installs new water meters and underground facilities. Project work will take place Monday – Thursday, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
