Did You Know?
The average age of the signers of the Declaration of Independence was just 44. Many were in their 30s—but Benjamin Franklin was 70. Independence was never just about youth—it’s always been about vision, responsibility, and planning for the future.
As we celebrate the 4th of July, I’m reflecting on what independence means not just for our country—but for each of us, especially as we age.
I’m Kara Noble—homeschool mom, wife, and attorney at Obsidian Ridge Law. On July 9th and 11th, I’m co-hosting a free workshop with Gabriella Strebe of Peak Experience Realty and Beverly’s Granddaughter. We’ll talk about aging with confidence—staying in control of your choices, protecting your dignity, and easing burdens on loved ones.
👉 We’ll cover real-life tools like health care directives, essential documents, and next steps.
Wishing you and your family a safe and happy Independence Day!
